Mammoth Four in a Line
A mammoth version that's just as challenging as the tiny one. Participants must get four coloured counters in a straight line to win - without being blocked by an opponent. Strategy in action...

Outdoor garden games

Speed Chess and Speed Draughts: like the board games, except participants have only 15 seconds to make their moves

Splat the Rat: whack the life out of a toy rodent as it comes hurtling out of an 18ft tube (yes, we know it sounds macabre, but it is fun!)

Toffee Apple Dangle: race to see how fast participants can eat a dangling apple, without using hands, arms or upper torso.

Tin Can Alley: Air pistols and cans - the traditional fairground game.

Un-rideable bikes: modified bicycles which don't perform as you'd expect. Totally unpredictable - and addictive!

Giant bar skittles: nine skittles, 18 inches high - and a long string with a ball attached. To test the targeting skills of competitors

Hi-Tower: 58 wooden blocks which have to be built into a block - and then removed, piece by piece, and added to the tower without making it tumble over. (Usually accompanied by intakes of breath and plenty of squeals!)
